This post is made of AWESOME.

Female readers, you may just want to skip this post entirely. This is for the guys. I felt it was time to celebrate what is AWESOME.

The internet can be a huge time-waster, but sometimes you run across sheer AWESOMENESS. You can click the pictures to see them full size:

Star Wars characters rocking out is AWESOME.

Monkeys (of all kinds) are AWESOME.

Very large jet engines mounted to very small cars are AWESOME.

That little bird is so cool it surfs on the back of a hawk. Yep. AWESOME.

A bus jumping motorcycles instead of the other way around is AWESOME. The huge ball of fire only makes it MORE AWESOMER.

TRIPLE AWESOME.

This guy has guts. AWESOME guts.

Nick Fury's middle name is AWESOME.

Secretariat winning by 31 lengths and destroying all records in his path. Sheer AWESOMENESS.

We sent a ROBOT to ANOTHER PLANET and claimed it in the name of AWESOME.

A guy doing a flip over a barbed-wire fence while throwing an axe. Double-AWESOME.

And before you ask - yes, all I did is steal these random images from the interwebs. But, if you've run across any pictures of PURE AWESOMENESS, post a comment and include them.

Broken Bones and Halloween

As most of you already knew, Fox broke his right leg (his femur) two weeks ago. That's his X-Ray above. He's in a body cast from his armpits to his ankles...see Michelle's blog for more details if by some chance any of this was news to you.

The rest of this blog post will be in reverse chronological order, just because I feel like doing it that way today.

Anyway, we were in Orlando for Halloween yesterday, and we decided to dress Fox up as a mummy. Hey, he was already 80% of the way there, so fifty cents worth of toilet paper and he was done!

Earlier, he went with his cousin Dylan to school and carved a pumpkin:

Michelle and Fox were actually in Orlando for a week while I stayed here and worked. That was a long week for me! I don't like being away from my family that long. But Fox was having fun with his cousin:

And the week before THAT, Shannon had brought Dylan up here to Tallahassee to hang out and give Michelle some help...especially during the day while I'm working. We set up Fox's new fish tank for him, and it's been quite a good distraction.
